How you apply PVC Waterproofing Membrane?
Step 1:
Thoroughly clean the entire surface of the screed using a high-pressure water jet to eliminate any loose particles and contaminants.
Step 2:
Address any areas of spalling or loose substrate in the screed by applying a polymer-modified cementitious repair mortar.
Step 3:
Grind the wall upturns to remove any existing paint or coating, ensuring a minimum height of 150mm.
Step 4:
Secure the PVC waterproofing membrane to the screed with fasteners and washers, ensuring an 80mm overlap and joining seams via hot air welding.
Step 5:
Adhere the PVC membrane to the wall upturns with adhesive, fix a termination bar, and seal with polyurethane (PU) sealant.
