How to Use Cement Based Waterproof Coating Penetrating & Crystalling

The construction and curing process must occur within a temperature range of 5°C to 35°C. Two construction methods are available: brush application and dry powder scattering.

1. For brush application construction:
2. Subgrade preparation: Eliminate any loose mortar, efflorescence, dust, oil, and other contaminants from the surface, and roughen it to create an open capillary system that facilitates penetration. Subsequently, thoroughly rinse the area using a high-pressure water jet.
3. Subgrade moistening: Ensure that the subgrade is adequately moistened, maintaining a damp condition without forming puddles.
4. Mixing: Utilize a weight ratio of powder to water of 1: (0.35 to 0.4). Begin by pouring water into a container, then add the powder, and mix thoroughly and quickly with a mechanical mixer. The resulting slurry should be utilized within 20 minutes, and no additional water should be introduced during application.
5. Brush application: Apply the mixture evenly in multiple coats using a stiff-bristled brush. Allow each coat to cure until the surface appears white before proceeding with the next application. If the time between coats exceeds 12 hours, lightly spray with water to moisten the surface before applying the subsequent coat.
6. For dry powder scattering construction: Evenly distribute the powder at a rate of 1.5 kg/m² onto the partially set concrete surface. Immediately embed the powder into the concrete using a wooden trowel or grinder, followed by a smoothing treatment.
