JS Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating Construction Application
1: Construction should not be conducted when temperatures are below 0°C or during rainfall.
2: Procedure: Ensure substrates are clean → apply first coating → apply second coating → (non-woven fabric) → apply third coating (dependent on desired thickness) → apply surface protective layer.
3. Substrate Preparation:Ensure the substrate is flat, clean, and free of smudges. Repair significant pitting or cracks with water-stopping mortar. Round internal and external corners into circular arcs.
4. Material Ratios:
- Type I:
- Primer layer: Liquid:Powder:Water = 1:1:0.5–1
- Low layer: Liquid:Powder:Water = 1:1:0–0.2
- Type II:
- Primer layer: Liquid:Powder:Water = 1:2:0.5–1
- Low layer: Liquid:Powder:Water = 1:2:0–0.3
Adjust water for the Low layer based on temperature. Avoid or minimize water in slope or facade applications. Weigh and mix materials thoroughly.
5. Application:Use a roller or brush for thin, even coats. Allow each layer to solidify and lose stickiness before applying the next (typically 4 hours). Drying times vary with temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
6. Tool Cleaning:Wash tools immediately after use with clean water.
