How to apply Double Components Polyurethane Waterproof Coating?
1.Thoroughly clean the construction or working surface, ensuring it is free of any foreign materials.
2.Shape any cracks in the surface preparation bed into a V-section, clean them, and fill them with Portland cement, suitable caulking materials, or crack tapes. Neutralize the surface by eliminating alkalinity using acid.
3.Apply a polyurethane primer coating to the surface to create an adhesion layer, and allow it to dry for at least 8 hours.
4.Mix the two-component polyurethane waterproofing coating according to the specified ratio and apply it with a brush. Let each coat dry for at least 12 hours before applying the next. Apply 2 to 3 layers to form a waterproof rubber layer with a thickness of 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
4.Extend the polyurethane coating 150 mm up the parapets or walls and at least 100 mm into the rainwater pipes.
5.Sprinkle a 300-micron layer of sand onto the final polyurethane layer.
